"SoundPro" Audio Analyzer

Model Details

The SP295 is an acoustic analysis tools designed to help set up and calibrate home theater rooms and public address venues. The SP295's test functions let you measure audio signals and calibrate equipment. The SoundPro functions are grouped under three menu categories: (1) the Acoustic Analysis functions include a powerful and flexible octave to 1/12 octave Real-Time Analyzer, a Sound Pressure Level meter, an Energy-Time Graph, and a Noise Criteria test, (2) the Test Functions include a Speaker Polarity Test, a Speaker Distortion test, and a Cable Test function, (3) the Tools functions include a Signal Generator with sine waves, square waves, white noise, and pink noise; Level Meters; and a Sample Scope function. The display is a 64x128 pixel super-twist graphic LCD with EL panel backlight. It is visible in all lighting conditions from darkness (with the backlight on) to full sunlight. The backlight can be set to automatically time off when the unit is under battery power.
